What do I need in order to lodge my return with Bell & Bell F.G?

You will need your Tax File Number and Group Certificates, interest statements, dividends, other income and details of your deductions.

Will a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) check my tax return before it is lodged?

Yes, a CPA will always check the tax return before it is lodged with the Australian Taxation Office. We may also need to ask you more questions by email (privately).

Can I lodge my first return with Bell & Bell F.G?

Yes, you are able to lodge your first return with Bell & Bell F.G.

Do I need to keep a hardcopy of my taxation records?

You need to keep your records for 5 years from 14 August or, if you lodge later, for 5 years from the date you lodge your tax return. If at the end of this period you are in dispute with the ATO, you must keep your records until the dispute is resolved.
