Choice of Superannuation Fund

You may be aware of the new legislation that requires employers to offer employees a choice as to where their superannuation contributions are placed.

The new rules apply from 1 July 2005 and the purpose of this package is to provide you with information to deal with the new law.

It is important you address this matter over the next few weeks and amend your procedures to ensure you comply with the new law.

Significant penalties will be imposed where employers fail to comply with the new law. Accordingly, we strongly suggest you start addressing the matters now so as to avoid the likelihood of penalties being imposed.
